We are thrilled to announce that Museums in Short is joining forces with Heritage in Motion for the 2026 edition — bringing together two communities that share the same passion: telling the stories of museums and cultural heritage through film and audiovisual media.
Nothing changes in terms of what you submit. Museums in Short films — short videos and documentaries about museums, up to 10 minutes in length — are welcome as always. This year, they will compete within the Audiovisuals category of Heritage in Motion 2026, gaining visibility on an international award platform with 12 years of history.
Submit your film directly on FilmFreeway, the platform used by Heritage in Motion. Select the Audiovisuals category when submitting.
